Internet Peering

CNX public peering service

CNX offers Internet Peering, providing participating ISPs and network operators access to a wide variety of networks connected to the CNX IX platform through a single connection.

This approach is cost-efficient, reduces reliance on transit, and simplifies network management and scaling. The peering LAN supports both IPv4 and IPv6 natively and is actively monitored 24×7 by our Network Operations Center (NOC).

Included services

All peering ports include access to CNX community services:

These services improve security, resilience, and operational visibility for all participants.

How to connect

You can connect in two ways:

  1. Cross-connect (XC) in selected data centers, directly to the CNX switch fabric.
  2. Metro fiber handoff from one of our partner providers.

CNX ensures the operation of the exchange fabric. Members are responsible for their own equipment and the cross-connect or metro circuit to our handoff point.
